Frankly, I don't blame you. I've been a Christian for pretty much my whole life. There have been things that I've liked about my faith and things that I haven't. Even in the ten years that I have been Messianic, I have encountered things I did not like. Even if we can assume that the Bible is true, the human factor always tends to screw things up. People have and continue to do things in the name of religion which are absolutely appalling. More blood has been shed for the cause of religion than anything else. Whether it's the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the KKK, the Holocaust, and even 911, all have been started and enacted by religious people. As with most things, however, you can't judge the whole based on the parts. You also can't focus on the negative and ignore the positive. As much hurt that has been caused by the church, there are many more lives that have been changed for the better. Faith is not an intellectual exercise, and those that try to argue for it engage in futility. It can only be "proven" through personal experience. I know from my own life that God is real and the Bible works when used properly. I can be pretty sure that if it were not for my faith in God I would either be in jail or dead. I am not here to judge you or anyone else. I am here to help you on your own spiritual journey, should you choose to accept it. I am not here to change you. That is God's job if He chooses to do so. I am here to answer any questions you might have the best I can. My e-mail is kevin@kingdomstar.com and I welcome any and all question and objections to religion that you have. I will also post your comments and my responses on this page if you don't mind me doing so.
